Frequently Asked Questions

The Vermillion business concept reduces downtime by dramatically shortening the time from failure to resolution of a client IT system.

At Vermillion we monitor the availability of IT critical services through our 24/7 monitoring system V-Watch and at the first sign of trouble immediately inform the client of the issue, or our engineers automatically begin the remediation process through the bespoke client management console.

Some of our more frequently asked questions...

V-Watch is it?

V-Watch is a small software install that usually sits on a server or client PC. It monitors key serveices found on servers / pc's / printers / switches etc and reports back to the Vermillion support Servers. On a warning or failure report, from the V-Watch service appropriate Vermillion staff are alerted and the remediation process starts.

Does V-Watch access my confidential documents?

No, V-Watch is just a monitoring device for default services such as Network connectivity and Antivirus availability. V-Watch can not and does not access/copy or read documents. Many of our clients deal with highly sensative documents, and if required we are only to happy to demonstrate the V-Watch system and if preffered sign confidentiallity agreements.

What happens if I employ new staff?
